clipjet@gmail.comFrequently Asked Questions
How do I scan a receipt?
Tap the scan button on the home screen, then select "Scan Receipt". Point your camera at the items section of your receipt (skip the header and totals). Our AI will automatically extract the food items and estimate expiration dates.
How accurate are the expiration dates?
Expiration dates are estimates based on typical shelf life for each food category. They're meant as helpful reminders, not guarantees. Always check your food for signs of spoilage and use your best judgment.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your device's settings:
- iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → ShelfLife
- Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → ShelfLife
How do I restore my purchase?
If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your purchase, go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the original purchase.
Can I use ShelfLife offline?
Yes! Your pantry data is stored locally on your device. You can view and manage your items offline. However, scanning receipts and getting AI recipe suggestions requires an internet connection.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at clipjet@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We'll process your request within 30 days.
